Hi all. So, I've been decidedly quiet on the site for a while, my apologies. It was some good and some bad. The good was that my practice has really taken off and I am really blessed. The bad is that I have been ill for the past 4 months, including a brief hospitalisation stint. But, I believe you take the good with the bad.
As such, I am proud to report that I, despite being totally inactive (doctor's orders), have lost a total of 16kg (32.2lbs)! And no, it's not all muscle, and this is despite 2 seperate courses of Cortisone - 1 course was a course of intrveinous drips! My clothes have dropped sizes, and my body fat has dropped markedly - I had it tested this morning.
The moral of the story? Healthy eating habits and some self-control can lead to fantastic weight loss. in case you were wondering if was morbidly obese to achieve such figures, I'm 1.93 m (6ft 3) tall and weight 98 kgs (215.6lbs) and have a body fat percentage of 12.8% (in the "Good" norms for males).
Through regularly practicing self-hypnosis I was able to help cement my resolve to eat well and made sure that input never esceeded output. Also, i never turned to food as an emotional crutch - something too many of us do too often!
So, there you have it! If I can do it, so can you!
Regards, Justin
